We are excited to share the new look and feel of Beef Issues Quarterly with you. After conducting a readership survey in 2013, it was determined that people wanted to move to an electronic, more user-friendly publication.

Dear readers,

We are excited to share the new look and feel of Beef Issues Quarterly with you. After conducting a readership survey in 2013, it was determined that people wanted to move to an electronic, more user-friendly publication. We also plan to print one edition a year that will feature “best of” articles from throughout 2014. Additionally, you can easily print articles from the new website at the bottom of each story. 

As an issues journal, Beef Issues Quarterly allows us to dig a little deeper on important topics impacting the beef industry. In the spring 2014 issue, you’ll find articles ranging from beef demand in China, to dietary guidelines, to Chipotle’s advertising strategy. Please encourage others to sign up for the electronic version of Beef Issues Quarterly to stay informed about these ever-evolving issues. 

I hope the new website allows you to better access expert information on beef trends. Outside of looking great, more importantly, we want it to work well for your needs. Thanks to each of you who took the time to provide feedback through our survey last year.

I also want to extend a special thank you to our Trends Advisory Panel, which is made up of industry thought leaders and staff experts. They are instrumental in providing issues forecasting and analysis that determines content for this publication.
